FAQ · Invoice Collection
Does AI invoice collection violate the TCPA?
AI invoice collection does not violate TCPA when implemented correctly. TCPA permits automated calls to business contacts for commercial purposes. The requirements are: the call must open with a disclosure that it is an AI (or automated system); the caller must honor opt-out requests immediately; calls must fall within the 8 AM – 9 PM local-time window; and the caller must maintain a do-not-call list. Syntharra enforces all of these rules in code — the disclosure is hardcoded at the start of every call and cannot be disabled, opt-outs are applied globally and instantly, and the calling window is enforced by billing address timezone. TCPA violations carry $500–$1,500 per call in statutory damages, so deterministic enforcement is essential.
