How to think about this comparison

Chaser does email-led dunning very well. The product schedules personalised reminder sequences, tracks who has opened what, and flags accounts that need a human nudge. It is one of the most polished tools in its category, and for shops where email alone moves the needle, it is a perfectly reasonable choice. Syntharra is the next step down the funnel, not a replacement. The customers who would have paid after Chaser's third email already paid. The ones who did not are the ones we call. We sit underneath any email-led tool, including Chaser, and add the phone-call layer that converts the silent thirty- to ninety-day-past-due bucket into recovered cash without burning the customer relationship.

When Chaser is the better choice

Chaser is the best email-led tool in the category; we are not trying to replace it. We add the phone-call layer at day three past due that email alone cannot deliver. If your AR problem is the customers who have stopped opening reminders, Syntharra is the layer to add.

This is Syntharra's own first-party positioning, not a third-party endorsement. We publish it here so the trade-offs stay explicit.

Questions shops ask when picking between us and Chaser

Is Syntharra a replacement for Chaser?

Not really. Chaser is best at email cadence and at tracking opens, clicks, and reply state. Syntharra is best at the phone call that follows when the email cadence has run out of road. The two stack cleanly: keep Chaser for the first wave of polite reminders, layer Syntharra underneath for the calls that need to happen at day three past due if the customer never opens the emails.

Why use AI voice instead of more sophisticated email follow-up?

Because past a certain point, more email does not move the needle. Once a customer has stopped opening your reminders, the next email looks like the previous email. The phone call is the moment the conversation actually happens. The customer either pays, promises a date, or raises a dispute. Email cannot force any of those three outcomes; a polite, compliant phone call usually does.

Does Syntharra do email reminders too?

No. We are deliberately narrow. Email-led products like Chaser already do email well, and we have no interest in being a worse version of them. We focus on the phone-call step nobody else does well at SMB scale.

Is Syntharra available outside the United States?

Today we operate in the United States and Canada only. Our compliance layer is calibrated for TCPA, FDCPA principles, and state-level calling-window restrictions. UK / EMEA expansion is on the roadmap but not committed. Until then, Chaser is the better choice for non-North-American SMBs.

How much does each cost in practice?

Chaser charges a per-seat monthly subscription whether or not you recover anything that month. Syntharra charges 10 percent of what we actually recover, with no monthly fee, no setup, and no minimum. For shops with sporadic past-dues or low recovery volume, Syntharra is significantly cheaper. For shops that recover six figures a month, the math gets closer.

Can I run both at the same time?

Yes. Chaser handles the email cadence; Syntharra handles the phone calls. We do not write back to your accounting software, so there is no conflict on the ledger. Just make sure your dunning rules pause email reminders for an invoice while Syntharra is actively on a call about it.
